The Copperbelt University Students Unions COBOSU has appealed to higher education minister Nkandu Luo to reopen the learning institution.

COBOSU president Lawrence Kasonde says the students regret their riotous behavior and have learnt their lesson.

Mr. Kasonde says the students have agreed to be having peaceful talks whenever they are aggrieved.

Speaking during a media briefing Mr. Kasonde also says the students have sent their apologies to Professor Luo over the harsh words used against her the last time she visited the institution.

Mr. Kasonde says the union will going forward be engaging management on all issues in order to maintain peace and order at the institution.
